This is Halloween!

Hi dear tea lovers,

Today's one of my favorite days: the Witch (I was going to write *bitch!) and monsters day!

How was your Halloween?

I haven't really done much.. I've carved a pumpkin, driven my Vespa under a thunderstorm after an afternoon tea with a friend (scary and annoying with all that water slapping my face around), ordered Chinese take-out and watched (again) Gossip Girl with my sis..
A nice Halloween.. And the house's smelling like Chinese food - my God, now I'm hungry again -!

Btw, LOOKBOOK.nu has organized a project called "Spookbook" just for Halloween.

Good evening dears,

I know it's been a while, but I'm quite busy with exams and tests at the moment - dreadful -!

In fact, tonight I'll eventually study until late.. Oh my, can't stand it anymore!

Btw, this morning I was skimming Elle - magazine that I love - and found an article about my beloved Helsinki. 

I haven't been there even once yet (what a scandal!) but I've always wanted to. Moreover, the article kept on going on about Helsinki being the 'Capital of Design' and probably the next 'Most Liveable City', and made me want to book a flight even more!

Conclusion: I'm planning a trip to Helsinki (and maybe Saint Petersburg and the Baltic capitals) for next summer! 

Then, here there are some other cities I'm yearning to visit:

Saint Petersburg

Copenhagen

Reykjavik 

Amsterdam

Tokio

(I know it doesn't match a lot with the upper ones but it's still a dream of mine)

Tonight I had a really weird dream; a dream about my ex boyfriend and me talking shit about each other, kissing roughly, and then badmouthing again.

I had no recollection at first but the image of me kissing him suddenly came up to my mind at breakfast time, and it felt really strange! I almost suffocated, ahahah!

I checked out on a web-site, the so called Dream Dictionary; and here it is:

"To dream that you are kissing your ex suggests that there are certain attributes about your ex that you enjoyed. This dream isn't indicating necessarily that you wish to visit the relationship again, but that you should think about what your ex's better qualities or attributes. These are the attributes you are finally coming to acknowledge within yourself".

And on another website I found that:

"To dream about your ex-boyfriend/girlfriend or ex-husband/wife, that you and your ex are fighting or  that you and your ex got back together again suggests that something or someone in your current life is bringing out similar feelings you felt during that relationship with your ex. just finished watching some episodes of Gossip Girl with my sis, at least 5!
Omg, I think I'm gonna dream of it tonight..
In my opinion, that bunch of weirdos from the Upper East Side they all live a terrible life, but I can't help envying them for their amazing clothes!
Ah, wish I could go shopping (and not being stuck at home studying for my Philosophy test)..

By the way, what did you guys do tonight? Party, Cinema, Pub night?

We ate that much Chinese takeout that now I feel like bursting.. Wish we hadn't (it is just too good, it's impossible to resist)!

There's no better time

Hi there,

have you planned something special for today?

I'm gonna have a 'girly night' with my sister, watching Gossip Girl episodes (the first two season, aww, so nostalgic!) and eating Chinese takeout.

It's been a while since we had some free time to spend together so it's gonna be fun!

Plus, I'm gonna get my nails done too; isn't the color in the picture lovely?

I'm not sure whether I should choose that reddish color or a dark and warm-like petrol green~

It's been ages since I had them done last! Can't wait anymore~

I'm feeling rather energetic today, even though I have a horrible stomachache and my back's been hurting...

Am I by any chance getting older?

The Philosophy of Coffee

Dears,
today is a housey day. I'm studying for a philosophy test at the moment and since I cannot bring myself to like Kant, I just have to drown my frustration in a huge mug of coffee.
Drinking too much coffee's not very healthy though...
What are you guys doing today? Hopefully not philosophy..
Are you enjoying your first fall days? Or do you still wear your sleeveless shirts (like me)?
22° at my place today, a southern shiny and sunny day!
I just wonder, when will Autumn really begin here?

Now, Tea with me..

Good evening there!
This is my first blog and I really haven't got much to say.
I just wanted to slowly introduce "Tea with Me" and tell you something about me (even though it's nowhere even close to exciting).
I had been thinking about creating a blog for a while when I had the idea of actually doing it.
I guess you could call this a double-writer blog, since I'll randomly ask some questions to random people by email, and then post here they're answers. Something like a column in a newspaper :)
I'd like to exchange addresses too and then publish quotes from the letters I would receive.
I'de be more than pleased to have new Pen-Friends who to write with!
By the way, I'm Sara, I live in South Italy... My nationality's quite an issue though.
I'm half Swedish and half Italian (and a little bit Finnish too). I was born in Stockholm and raised in Italy and my Swedish is, unfortunately, quite bad.. If any Swede wants to write me, please, teach me some more of my native language 'cause my dad's always repeating that it's a 'scandal'! ;)
Oh, and I'm kind of addicted to tea (and instant coffee), so, if you have anything to suggest: a strange taste of tea or a delicious cakes to have it with, feel free to comment!
